Project Universal Text
The Way Ahead
Universal Text is an implementation of the text theory presented in my book Text-Oriented Software. After some years experimenting with the Universal Text Interpeter, it is time to plan the way ahead: a family of programs beginning with a rewrite of the existing interpreter and ending with a complete operating system.
At these pages I have started collecting material that describes the whole project and its parts.

The Universal Text Interpreter is stable and in productive use for generating my websites and books. It is an interpreter for Universal Text written in Perl.
